I have a long history in the fashion industry beginning with modeling
in the late 70's. In the mid-80's, I opened a small boutique in
the Deep Ellum district of Dallas and this experience inspired me
to design my own line of clothing which sold to over 1,000 stores
in the United States. My company, Atlantis Underground, produced
one of the first lines of untreated cotton garments in the late
80's and early 90's along with doing private label production for
many manufacturers.
I am also a big recycler and started recycling t-shirts and vintage
fabrics more than twenty years ago. There is nothing more satisfying
than taking an old piece of discarded clothing and turning it into
something beautiful. Working with recycled designs is one of the
things I love most.
Lastly, my vintage collection. I started combing flea markets and
thrift stores for vintage clothes, mostly to save money when I was
in high school. Since then, collecting vintage clothing is a passion.
I have amassed an entire room of amazing things.
This web site is created to bring all of these various interests
and endeavors in the fashion industry under one roof. I hope you
find something that speaks to you........
